The Granite has many different leagues for anyone to play. New curlers might want to look at the draw leagues or the mixed leagues as they are more socially oriented. If you are looking to see when various leagues run, please see the weekly schedule below.
Rookies Rock
Rookies Rock is a "league" for adults (16 years and older) with little, or no, curling experience. The goal is to teach the games to newcomers and have some fun. Each week there will be some instruction followed by a game. This is a great way to learn the game!
The cost is minimal (see fees) and is open to both members and non-members. It is run on Sunday evenings from 7-9 PM.

Mens Curling
Mens Fixed
The fixed runs 32 teams in four divisions. The A & B divisions play on Tuesday night and the C & D divisions are on Thursday.

Mens Draw
The draw runs 8 teams chosen from 32 individuals. A more social event, this is a great way to get started with curling. Teams are re-made 3 times each year, assuring that you get to play will many different people. This event is run on Wednesday nights from 9-11 PM.

Monday morning at 9 AM and 11:15 AM
Teams are drawn three times a year. Members rotate through all positions for 2 ends each. Teams play for the "Rotarian Trophy".
Tuesdays and Thursday at 11:15 AM
Teams are formed three times a year to compete in the Bruce Ray, Lew Little, and Bill Keay draws. The Bill Keay draw is traditionally a double team event.
Wednesday at 11:15 AM
Pick-up (or "Off the board") curling - Members sign in and teams are made up for fun curling. Practice ice is often available.
Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30 PM
Mixed curling with the Day Ladies. Tuesdays is for competitive curling and Thursdays are for fun curling.

Bridge - Cribbage - Snooker Competitions
Played throughout the week before and after curling. Social members are welcome.

Ladies Curling
Evening Ladies Draw

Evening Ladies Fixed
Games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7. For more general information click here. For schedules and results click here.
Day Ladies Draw and Fixed
Games are played Tuesday-Friday at 9AM and at 1:30 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Mixed
Weekend Mixed
Games are played on Fridays from 7-11 and on Saturdays from 4-10. For more information please please the information page or the schedules for this league.
Day Mixed
Events run on Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30.
Open Fixed
Open to any combination of adult curlers of any age or gender that form a complete team of their own choosing.
Eight end games are played at 5pm , 7pm or 9pm on Monday nights. (The 7pm and 9pm games alternate each week.)
The league is divided into two divisions of eight teams (Green & Gold). At the end of each round robin, the seventh and eighth pace finishers of the Green Division are selected to play the next round in the Gold Division. Similarly, the first and second place finishers of the Gold Division are placed into the Green for the next round.
Trophies are awarded to the Champions of each division at the year end Monday Night Open Fixed Banquet. This year, the championships will be determined by a two round playoff ending in April.

Youth (Little Rocks/Bantam/Junior)
We offer several programs for young curlers. The Little Rock program is for 7-12 year olds, the Bantam program is for those that are 13-16 years old, and the Junior program is for those who are 17-20 years old.
Anyone who wishes to observe or to try curling for the first time before committing to a membership is welcome. Please call to make arrangements to do so.
Cost for the program is very inexpensive (see fees), and the cost for equipment for a beginner is very low (less than $100 including running shoes). A list of required equipment and suggested clothing is provided at registration.
Junior/Bantam
These run from on Saturdays from 10:30-12:30.

Little Rocks
The Little Rock program runs on Saturday mornings. Our schedule is from 9:00 a.m. To 10:30 a.m. from October through the end of March. An additional draw will be added at 7:30 a.m. if there is enough demand.
