A very special thanks to Ron Thompson, Jim Brooks and the team they put together to inspect all of the roof trusses - an ongoing requirement to ensure the roof over the ice surface meets code. This inspection is normally done every 5 years - Ron Thompson carried out the inspection against previous inspection results and with an engineering firm, decided to re-inforce a number of the joints. This work required a fair bit of effort, a personal lift device and a lot of climbing. The pictures reflect those involved and the nature of the work and were provided by Lyle Tallon.
